Eban, and his son have lived in their home in Highland Park for over 16 years. Eban is a disabled single dad, community activist and friend to many in the neighborhood. Ebans main request when he reached out to our nonprofit was to remain in his home and get his roof, which is in grave disrepair, replaced.
Estimates for a full roof replacement was upwards of $20,000. Our Rehab Highland Park team reached out for help from the community and others near and far raising funds for a brand new roof for Eban’s family home. We’ve been able to raise nearly $10,000!
Our gracious partner, ABC Supply right here in Highland Park, MI offered to donate all the roofing materials for Eban’s roof! We are so grateful and thankful for their generosity and willingness to support our city residents.
